About the Artist
Stephanie McCormick, was born in Bridgend, South Wales, UK, and continues to live in her hometown today. From a young age, she showed a keen interest in art and was acknowledged for her artistic talents having work commended in local exhibitions.
Upon completing her education, she embarked on a lengthy and distinguished career as a Registered Nurse. Throughout her nursing career, she continued to nurture her love for arts and crafts, mastering various techniques and skills.
After retiring from nursing in 2024, she has dedicated herself to fulfilling her lifelong aspiration of an artistic profession successfully appearing in exhibitions around the U.K.

Mission
Stephanie's enthusiasm for Arts & Crafts has enabled her to hone her skills across various media forms, yet her true passion lies in Textile Art. She creates exquisite and intricately detailed pieces that captivate the viewer's attention and reflect the beauty of nature.
Inspiration
Stephanie experiences a profound bond with her environment and nature, finding constant inspiration in the scenic beauty of her Welsh homeland.
Her enthusiasm for history is equally strong, as she delights in deriving inspiration from traditional Celtic and other historical art forms.
She enjoys exploring how she can replicate the beauty of nature in its many forms through the meticulous blending of textiles to produce intricate fine art works.
